Laborshed Studies Completed in Mid Iowa Growth Partnership Region

The communities of Algona, Clarion, Emmetsburg, Fort Dodge, Humboldt, Iowa Falls, Pocahontas, and Webster City have had a Laborshed study completed as part of the Mid Iowa Growth Partnership region. Additionally, a study in Lake City was also completed. The results can be found on the LMI Laborshed page (www.iowalmi.gov/laborshed).

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD), in partnership with the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA), announced in May 2018 that a Laborshed Study would be conducted for one community in every county in Iowa at no cost to local development organizations and their partners.

This is the eighth round of studies to be completed under this new program. To date, a total of  41 studies have been completed for communities across Iowa under the new funding program. All results are available on our website.

The study results are available in highly visual and interactive formats using data visualization software from Tableau and ArcGIS.
